Will prepare system riser diagrams and point-to-point wiring diagrams to meet customer application requirements. Provide technical support for customers and assist in access control system programming. Be comfortable in a project engineering environment, working very closely with electrical engineers and customer service personnel.

Full-Time Mechanical Engineer
Engineer will assist in the design and development of door lock hardware. Provide engineering support for small projects or multiple tasks involving new product design, development, test, and legacy product support. Be comfortable in a project engineering environment, working very closely with operations and production personnel.
Have a firm background in Mechanical Engineering principals and the ability to apply these principals to diverse families of hardware. Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) - position requires close coordination with internal customers. The candidate must be able to work in a team setting to effectively support program performance goals. Familiarity with lock and hardware manufacture, assembly and test processes is desired. Prior work experience in an ISO 9001 environment preferred.
Assign to projects or discreet tasks within a functional discipline. Depends on V.P. Operations for guidance and direction. Makes significant contribution to their team by applying their knowledge of the discipline. Understands key concepts to their discipline.
BS degree w/2-5+ yrs. experience.
Full-Time Factory Sales Salesperson
Security System / Access Control (Southern California)
The ideal candidate will possess excellent sales skills, technical knowledge and experience with electric locks, security access control systems and sales and account knowledge of the Southern California area. The individual should have a proven record of sales to the security or door hardware industries. Must be a motivated self-starter and be able to productively manage their time in order to provide measurable sales results. Will call on existing accounts, establish new accounts and work with SDC distributors in the territory. Will be expected to manage the sales strategy in the Southern California territory and implement key account strategies. The ideal candidate will possess computer skills and the ability to learn additional company production related programs. Will be expected to generate sales reports, and work with all areas of the company. Position will report to the Vice President of Sales.

Full-Time Sales Administrator
Administrative assistant to Vice President of Sales. Will interface with sales representatives, maintain and produce rep sales and customer sales figures on a monthly and quarterly basis. Keep records of rep samples, distributor discounts, registered specifications, and sales quotes. Will coordinate all trade show activities by placing show orders and assuring shipment arrangements are made for booth and show samples to show site. Assist in developing and implementing follow up procedures for many sales related projects. Coordination of sales meetings and training seminar material. Also will assist staff members in various tasks and projects, perform clerical duties, and pre-qualify Sales V.P. phone calls. Needs to be extremely proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Graphics experience such as or equal to Adobe and Quark necessary.
